Ten Famous Teachers

I'm always interested in how people moved from one career to another, especially people who are famous (how do you get from being a dental hygienist to being a movie star)? In this case, all of these well known people were once teachers.

  1. My parents were both teachers, now retired. I cannot in a million years imagine my father dressed up like a member of KISS.

  2. Mary, can you imagine anyone (other than Gene Simmons) dressed up like KISS? I'm amazed at the longevity of the group. I think they're still touring and I can remember little kids back when I first started teaching having KISS folders. Definitely not what (or who) one thinks of when the word "teacher" comes to mind, though, that's for sure.
