R. J. Bruni's Vegas in a Day

I've set two books in Las Vegas and I've visited there a couple of times. It's unique, from its history to its focus, and in this time-lapse video, R J Bruni replays one day in Vegas.

  1. I like that the images didn't flash across the screen too quickly for me. Very beautiful, as expected. Was there oh so many years ago. I was 17 and we hit the Desert Inn to see Juliet Prowse and Foster Brooks' midnight show. For our $10 admission fee, we received a free drink. I had a Tom Collins, no questions asked - perhaps because I was with my Mom (57), Dad (59), Bio dad (59), and Bio grandma (80). We even sat at the big table at the end of the runway because whoever usually sat there wasn't in attendance. Purrrrrfect!

  2. It sounds as if you had a great time! (I can't imagine the excitement of being able to sit right at the end of the runway)!
