I'm a bit late in coming to the Bunhead game (a 10-week series that was on this summer). If you enjoyed Gilmore Girls, this is along the same lines and it's also written by Amy Sherman Palladino. Told about it by a friend, I went to the ABC site and watched as many episodes as were available. Now I can't wait until the show is back on this winter (no idea how many episodes ABC bought. I hope it's more than 10). At any rate, I was thrilled to find this video of Sutton Foster, the star, and Elmo on Sesame Street's YouTube channel.
Here's the original promo that was made for Bunheads. I'm only sorry that they left Kelly Bishop out (the mother from Gilmore Girls) as she's wonderful and a big part of the series. Oh, and you don't have to be into ballet to enjoy this. The characters, the idyllic small town atmosphere, snappy banter, humor, cultural references and fast pacing are what make this so much fun.

Got all excited to see that Alan Ruck was a part of the show (then was disappointed to read the rest of it - I won't give it away). I enjoyed watching him on Spin City all those years ago....
ReplyDeleteI totally agree (like you, I won't say more).
