I haven't. I take it that it's a popular craft to teach children, as seen in this post from Creative Jewish Mom (she has a link to a how-to video).

Here's a link to 3 projects you can make with finger knitting (it says 5, but 2 of them haven't been posted yet). The pillow looks interesting. 

Along the same lines, here's a woman who finger crochets blankets. It creates a looser, softer result than I'm used to.
