I just got back from a two-week vacation to the U.S. Open (got to see Andy Murray up close in the quarter finals, which was totally awesome) and to Bar Harbor, Maine (gorgeous).
My apologies to those of you who have commented during those two weeks and received no response (I'm just looking through comments now), but I'm one of those nervous people who doesn't want to announce to the world that I'm out of town and that my house is unoccupied, so the vacation was a bit of a secret for the blog.
At any rate, thank you for visiting. I'll post more about the trip later. I hope you enjoyed the posts I had scheduled while I was away!

It had been a couple of years since we'd taken a real vacation rather than a staycation, and it was fantastic! I'd never gone to a professional tennis match before, so I was awestruck even though it rained for most of the first day we were there.
