Being a Dad (and a Man)

There's an organization called the National Fatherhood Initiative which has, over the years, created a series of public service announcements. Here are a few of the cutest.







Note: there were one or two people in the comments sections on YouTube who seemed to think that these ads were sexist or discriminated against single parent homes. I didn't take any of them that way at all. The message I was hearing was that we as parents (either women or men) need to set aside our dignity and our self-consciousness at times and try to view the world through a child's eyes in order to be a better parent. That IMO is the definition of a true man or a true woman. I would be the last person in the world who would ever criticize those parents who raise their children alone. To me these were just very touching and cute messages.
