Although I have very strong political leanings, I try never to get political on here. There are several reasons for that, and one of them is because some of you don't live in the U.S., so I don't want to burden you with our dirty laundry. Another reason is that this blog is supposed to be fun, not annoying. Still, during our presidential campaign, a threat has been issued to defund public broadcasting. So, I'm coming out of my political closet to say, public broadcasting is one of the best things this country or any country can have. It provides educational programming to all, and there are tons of history, science, cultural and educational shows none of us would ever get to see without this. So, in honor of the wonders of public broadcasting, here are some of the amazing public broadcasting stars:

And a shout out to all the other stars of public broadcasting who aren't pictured above. Their numbers are legion: artists, chefs, musicians, scientists, historians...the list goes on and on. Thank you to all who recognize the value of the people who bring us such programming. And now I'll get off my political high horse and go back to posting silly videos.
