Cute Bookshelves for Kids

It's been awhile since I've done a bookshelf post (and I've probably taken down a few, since those links don't last forever). But I ran across a few interesting bookshelves for children, so here goes.

These are all from Target and farther down the page, there are images from Amazon, but many of these were on both sites and others as well. I've simply noted the images I linked from.

And from Amazon:

Wouldn't you have loved to have one of these when you were a child?

Have a great day!

  1. My parents had this old bookcase with two glass doors, except there was glass missing in the bottoms of the two doors. Funny the things you remember, eh? I remember how musty it smelled, how we kept our Bibles in there, my nursery rhyme book, Aesop's Fables, and my one doll....

  2. Looking over I can see the bookcase from my childhood. It must have been a quality piece because it has stood the test of time well. It holds all my now grown children's childhood books.

My Mother still has a book case with glass doors. It's a work of art. It locks with a key. Again, another piece that has stood the test of time.

Precious books deserve great, or at least decent, book cases.

  3. Books (and shelves) hold great memories, don't they? The bookshelf my parents gave me for Christmas when I was young is sitting about four feet away from my desk. There are three drawers beneath the shelves, and there have been times when I've filled the drawers with books, too.
