Anyway, I also saw these fun Halloween infinity mirrors, but they cost a bit more than I wanted to spend. (Note: I wrote this post a few years ago, and the original product isn't available. The infinity mirror below isn't a Halloween one, but it demonstrates the basics of what one looks like.
I'd love to try making my own, and there are videos showing how to make less complex versions (i.e., simple rectangles). The illusion of lights going on forever is achieved by using a mirror and one-way reflective mirror film, available in rolls at hardware stores and on Amazon, but I'm not sure the cost of the materials and the work involved are worth it. They do look fun, though. (If you'd like to see one of the easier videos, I've already combed through a few and can post one, if there's any interest).
I haven't made any Halloween decorations lately, but I liked this video, because all of the supplies can be purchased at the dollar store. For a holiday where the decorations stay up only a very short time, affordability can be key.
